1) Installation of filter:

• Put the white coral and black carbon with the bag into the filter (don't open the bag);
• Take the poly-fill, polyester fiberfill out of the bag and place it on top of the coral and carbon;
• Place the filter pad on top of the polyester fiberfill.

2) Installation of fish tank:

• Put the tank on top of the Stainless Steel stand; connect the 1” & 1-1/2” water in & water out union at the bottom of the tank.
• While the tank is in use, the drain valve under the tank and the grey drain valve of the water pump are closed.
• The inlet and outlet valve of the water pump are always open

3) Making the sea water:

• Fill in water to the tank directly, the water will go to the filter automatically after it fills up.
• Plug in the power when the water fills over half of the filter, then start the water pump and condensing unit. (ALWAYS keep the water over half of the filter.)
• Add sea salt into water, 100lbs salt can conduct 330-gallon sea water. It's good to have the concentration between 1.020 and 1.022. Please use the hydrometer that comes along to test the concentration of the water.
• To use a hydrometer: fill up the test jar with the water to be measured; place the hydrometer in the jar:

1. If the green line is far away and below the horizontal line, the concentration of the water is too low and should add more sea salt;
2. If the green line is far away and above the horizontal line, the concentration of the water is too high and should add more water;
3. If the green line touches the horizontal line, the concentration of the water is good.

4) Adjust the temperature control:

• Please go to "Program the Thermostate" for detail.

     (Different tempature for different seafood, if you don't know the temperature

      for your seafood, please call us @ 718-965-2227)

5) Stocking capacity:

     According to the Ammonia Alert indicate the water quality, the

     stocking capacity is approximately as below:

• 1 - 2 weeks       ------------------------------ 10% of the full capacity
• 3rd week           ------------------------------  15% of the full capacity
• 4th week           -----------------------------   20% of the full capacity
• 5 - 8 weeks       ------------------------------  40% of the full capacity
• 9 - 12 weeks     ------------------------------  80% of the full capacity
• after 12 weeks  ------------------------------- full capacity

* Caution:

    a) The water in the fish tank will reach the set temperature and complete the

         filter process after the water pump and condensing units run for ten hours.

     b) if in seven days:

                       Survival of lobsters, crab less than ----- 90%

                       Survival of fishes less than --------------- 80%

      Please check the following and make correction:

                  1) If the temperature is correct.

                  2) If the concentration of the water is correct. (1.022).

                  3) The filter system and transparency of the water

      c) To avoid breaking the seal, NEVER turn on the water pump without filling            in water to the tank. 

 *** Maintenance *** 

 1) Check temperature twice daily. If temperature is 3 degree     Faranheit difference from the set temperature, please call for service.  

 2) Check the concentration once a week (1.022).

 3) If there is bubble in the water, please remove all the bubble.

 4) If the water in the tank is yellow, please replace the carbon.

 5) Please replace the cotton & clean the filter pad once a month.

 6) If the sensor in the center of the Ammonia Alert is Dark Blue (Toxic), the water is not clear with lots of bubble, please replace the water, but do not clean the filtration materials.

安装及使用說明 

1）過濾器的安装:

• 把白色的珊瑚和黑色的活性碳連網袋一起放入過濾缸内 (千萬不要打開網袋).
• 取出膠袋内的碎棉花(Poly-fil, polyester fiberfill)放在珊瑚与活性炭的上面.
• 把可清洗的整塊粗過濾棉放在最上面加上兩條壓條.

2) 鱼缸的安装:

• 把透明的鱼缸放在不鏽鋼座上,鏈接缸底1"和1-1/2"進,出水塑料管的活接口(UNION).
• 当鱼缸使用时,缸底的出水閥和水泵出水管後的灰色出水閥是關閉的.
• 水泵前後的閥門(VALVE)是常開的.

3) 鱼缸加水和海水的调製:

• 直接加水進鱼缸内,水滿後会自動流到過濾器内,過濾器內的水位超過碎棉(在視鏡内可以看见)即可.
• 過濾器内的水位達到要求後,即可接通電源,開動水泵和製冷壓縮機.
• 如果魚缸準備養海水的龍蝦,大蟹,海魚等,可以用海鹽調配人工海水.海水的濃度为1.022.
• 100磅鹽可調約330加侖海水,用附送的鹽度計(HYDROMETER)測量,

         A)如果綠色在水平線的下面,太淡,需要加鹽.

         B)如果綠色在水平線的上面,太咸,需要加水.

         C)如果水平線在綠色中間,鹽度正確.

4) 温度控制器的調整:

• 請参考 "Program the Thermostate"

     (不同的海鲜,不同的温度,如果不知道請來電詢問 718-965-2227)

5) 放養数量：

     根據阿摩尼亞試紙(Ammonia alert)的水質分析數據，放養數量大

     概如下：

• 开始 1 - 2周,總容量的   ----------- 10%
• 3周,總容量的                 ----------- 15%
• 4周,總容量的                 ----------- 20%
• 5 - 8周,總容量的            ----------- 40%
• 9 - 12周,總容量的          ----------- 80%
• 12周後,總容量的           ----------- 100%

* 注意事項:

   a)在水泵和冷凍機運行十小時後,鱼缸内的水才能達到設定的温度和過濾完畢.

   b)如果七天内:

                       龍蝦,大蟹存活率小於 ------ 90%

                       魚類存活率小於 ------------- 80%

      請檢查以下3點並且更正:

                 1) 溫度是否準確.

                 2) 水的鹽分是否準確(1.022).

                 3) 水的過濾系統和透明度.

   c) 請勿在加水進魚缸之前開動水泵。

 *** 日常维护 ***

 1) 每天檢查温度两次,如果超过要求温度3'F就要通知檢查修理.

 2) 海水池每星期测量一次咸度 (1.022).

 3) 如果池内水面有泡沫必须捞走.

 4) 如果缸内水变黄色,要换活性碳.

 5) 每月换过滤棉一次和清洁过滤块

 6) 如果亜摩尼亜試纸中间测試点颜色变紫色,池水不清, 有大量泡沫,就要全部换水,但不必清洗所有过滤材料
